CNC Mill Operator / Setter / Programmer, Nailsea, North Somerset
Enable Futures is recruiting for an experienced CNC Mill Operator / Setter / Programmer to join a well-established and growing engineering business based in Nailsea.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC professional looking for a permanent, Monday-to-Friday day shift, with an early finish every Friday, excellent benefits and the opportunity to increase earnings through regular overtime.
What you'll do
- Interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications
- Write and edit milling toolpaths using Fanuc CNC programming language
- Set up CNC machinery, inspection equipment, fixtures and tooling
- Set and operate Haas CNC Mills
- Produce components to customer-specified tolerances
- Measure and inspect finished components using a range of inspection methods
- Carry out minor day-to-day maintenance and keep machinery running efficiently
- Identify and raise any concerns or errors with programmes, paperwork or machine set-ups
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
What you'll need
- Previous experience within an engineering or precision manufacturing environment
- Strong CNC milling experience, ideally including setting and programming
- Good knowledge of Fanuc programming and toolpaths
- Experience using Haas CNC Mills would be advantageous
- The ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with quality inspection and measurement techniques
- CAD/CAM experience, ideally Fusion 360 or OneCNC
- Knowledge of plastics machining and precision manufacturing would be beneficial

- £32,000–£36,000 salary, depending on experience
