Stores & Stock Operative, Bridgwater, Somerset
We’re seeking someone with hands-on experience in a stores setting rather than a traditional warehouse, who is familiar with stock control processes and kit picking. This is not a warehouse role, we do not require any forklift experience. The role is for Stores/Picking.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Stores Operative who can support smooth daily operations and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.
What you'll do
- Pick, prepare, and issue kits and components accurately, deal with an MRP, IT literate. You need to be able to count, basic maths skills.
- Maintain stock control and carry out regular inventory checks.
- Receive and book in deliveries.
- Keep the stores area organised, tidy, and compliant with health and safety guidelines.
- Support internal teams by ensuring the right parts are available when needed.
What you'll need
- Experience working in a stores role, or within a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong understanding of stock processes and kit picking.
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with inventory systems.
- Reliable, organised, and proactive.
